*Vuzix 310XL : Optics were decent but the focus was a little off in the contrast of the sides of the screen. SOLD IT WITH ANOTHER PAIR ON EBAY - Do not miss them hope the buyer is enjoying them for the great deal he got! I just could not use it for gaming and such. I mean it was cool for the time I had it. Decent features like a OSD and 3D modes and Brigtness/Contrast/Color, etc. Now its just parts and a possible DYI project for later lol.

GOT A REFUND AND GOT IT FOR FREE - I ended up breaking it trying to FIX the optics. I spent a bit on this thing and it was just not worth it. Accupix seems to be some sort of mini partner company with LG. The blurry optics and cheap qaulity just ruin it ALL. I would say it was like the Smart HDTV's. Blurry in the middle and made me consider never trying HMDs ever again. NOT portable in the car and more of a at home thing. SENT IT BACK - I didn't like the breakout box either. *Sony HMZ-T1 : I have big brdiged nose and the edges were blurry : Seemed OK, But FOV is not like PJ screen or 750ft screen as Sony claims. "On to my HMD/Video Glasses experiences IN ORDER OF DATE OWNED"

I will update this as more info and resources are available to help share my findings with the community! Thanks!įirst off I will show you guys were I came from in comparing this tech to what I have owned and tried. I only provide my opinion and will just be honest based on my experience and the model I happened to have my hands on. I hope this list and breakdown will help whoever is looking and in the market. maybe even trade some gear with fellow collectors. I hope to get some great opinions here and learn more. I would say the projector is like a really big hologram and the RIFT is like. The Rift is really the only thing that evem offers a NEW experience VS 3D Projectors. I did try a few semi-VR headsets like the emagin and Sony HMZ series but the projector screen just cannot be outdone in size and feeling of scope. These glasses/hmds below mainly were bought for that purpose. I always have been intrigued with just throwing a pair of video glasses/hmd in a bad with my Nvidia shield and doing some emulation or gaming on the go. I started my 3D obsession with the interest in Nvidia 3dtv play/3d vision. The Oculus was something I just stumbled onto and I had only looked for these hmds for travel and portable TV/Monitor usage. Palmer Lucky really did do some awesome things here. There seems to be many poor qaulity items that give the market trouble. Some items turned out to be really great suprises! I will say that the market for video glasses and hmds is not very well understood. Most items I sadly returned as they were not as good as I hoped. I guess Its been about 1 year now and I have plowed through many ebay purchases. Cybereality seems to be in 99% of all topics lol. Hey guys my name is Jonathan and I constantly find myself going to this site to pull from the many opinions & info.
